What’s the Financial Change You Want to Make?

What's the Financial Change You Want to Make

After talking to hundreds of parents over the last few years, I know that there are always doubts about whether you’re making the right financial decisions for your family.

You care about doing the right thing, so you do your research, evaluate your options, and make the best decisions you can with the information you have.

But there’s always uncertainty.

You wonder whether you’re striking the right balance between meeting today’s needs, saving for the future, and having something left over to enjoy yourself in the meantime.

You wonder if there’s anything you’re missing. Anything you could be doing better, that could make your life a little easier or help you reach your goals a little sooner.

And sometimes you just feel stuck. You’re honestly not sure what the next move is supposed to be.

Helping people sort through those questions and make better decisions is exactly why I became a financial planner. But up till now it’s been fairly expensive to sit down with me, 1-on-1, and get personalized advice about your specific situation.

That’s always bothered me. Because I firmly believe that everyone deserves access to honest, affordable financial advice, no matter how much money you have or where you’re starting from. But I wasn’t backing that up by making it available.

And that’s why I’ve decided to launch a new service: the Jump Start Session.

The Jump Start Session is pay-what-you-can, meaning you set the price based on what you can afford and what you think is fair.

And it’s a real financial planning meeting, meaning we dive into the details of your situation, answer your biggest questions, and create an action plan you can use to move yourself forward.

Here’s how it works:

  1. You fill out a questionnaire telling me about your current financial situation, your biggest questions, and what you’d like to achieve.
  2. We have a 60-minute video call where we answer those questions and lay out the specific steps you can take to make quick progress.
  3. I send you a written summary of my recommendations so that you know exactly what you need to do next.

The goal is to answer your biggest financial questions and make sure that you know how to put yourself on the right financial track.

And because it’s pay-what-you-can, it’s available to everyone regardless of income.
