Hourly Financial Planning
Maybe you just have one specific financial question that you’d like help with, such as buying life insurance or picking investments within your 401(k).
Maybe you’d like help creating a full financial plan, but don’t feel like you need any ongoing guidance beyond that.
Or maybe you already have a good idea of what you’d like to do, but you just want someone to bounce your ideas off of.
If for any reason you’d like the help of a professional but don’t want the full support offered in my comprehensive financial planning service, this is the model for you.
How does it work?
The first step is a free 30-minute “get to know each other” call where we can both get a better sense of whether we’d like to work together. You can let me know what you’re looking for and ask any questions you might have, all with no obligation.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll mutually define the services you’re looking for and we’ll either set a flat fee for the entire project or work on an hourly basis.
The advantage of this model is that you can pay just for the advice you need and be on your way. There’s no recurring monthly fee if you don’t feel like you want the ongoing support.
The disadvantage is that if you decide you do want additional support, it will require either a new flat-fee project or more billing at my hourly rate and may end up costing you more than my ongoing planning service.
What does it cost?
Hourly fees range from $150-250 per hour, depending on the type of work that’s being done. We’ll agree on this rate before signing any agreement so you know exactly what you’ll be paying.
If we decide to work on a flat-fee basis, the rate will be determined based on the scope and complexity of the project. Again, we’ll agree on the fee before any agreement is signed and you’ll have options to pay it in installments over the course of the project.
Let’s talk it over
If you’re interested in learning a little more about these services, and possibly becoming a client, click the button below to schedule your free 30-minute “get to know each other” call.
We can talk about what you’re looking for, I can answer any questions you might have, and hopefully by the end of the call we’ll have a better idea whether the relationship will work. If not, no worries! There are no obligations. Only an opportunity to learn a little more.
So what do you say? Are you ready to start making a better financial future for you and your family? What do you have to lose?
